Getting started
- Tap New job, name it and pick the type of work. Finishwell sets up the handover checklist for that kind of job.
- Work through the checklist as the job goes: add certificates and warranties, photograph pipes and cables before boarding, note paint colours, appliances and who to call.
- On the Manual tab, tap Make PDF for the whole Home Manual or just one section, or Send to client to text or email it.
- At handover, the client signs on the Hand over screen. Their signature goes in the manual.
Common questions
Where are my jobs stored?
On your phone only. There's no account. Use Settings → Back up everything to save a copy to Files or iCloud Drive, and Restore from a backup on a new phone.
How does pricing work?
Your first job is free. A one-off payment unlocks unlimited jobs. There's no subscription. On a new phone, open Unlock and tap Restore purchase.
How does my client get maintenance reminders?
On the Maintenance calendar, tap Send to client's calendar and text or email it. They tap the file and choose Add All. WhatsApp can only preview calendar files, so use a text or email.
Can I put my logo on the manual?
Yes: Settings → You and your company. Your name, company, phone, email and logo go on the cover.
The manual is too big to email.
Send one section at a time, or switch off "Certificates and manuals (PDFs)" on the Manual tab.
